So my truck is having some transmission problems which are going to cost about 1500 to fix. I work with an IT company and one of our clients is a dealership and they told me they would give me 7k for my truck and I could get my dream car, a 2017 Nissan Altima sport edition, for 16k after trade in. Amazing deal. The only problem is I have 5 points on my license and my insurance would go from being 150 a month to 250 (my parents are kicking me off their plan). My question is should I go ahead and fix my extremely impractical truck with terrible gas mileage and wait about a year and a half for my wreck to disappear off my license or just go ahead and get the I've been in tech for quite some time and have never had this issue. The ext HDD is a Toshiba HDWC130XK3J1. I just re-imaged the users new computer and had everything up and running, plugged in all her accessories (keyboard, mouse, and the HDD) and the computer is now persistent on booting off the ext HDD. I have all other boot options in the BIOS disabled except for the SATA. I talked to the level 2 specialist and she could not figure it out either. On GTAV on high/medium settings I get 15-20 fps. Day Z on high is around 30, ARK is 5-8 fps on roughly any setting, and BF4 is 15-20 on very high/high, 35-40 on medium. However, when running MSI Kumbustor, on pretty much all of the tests I get 70 fps and sometimes even 120 @ 1920x1080. I have done numerous stress test, I have had all components tested, I have done complete virus scans, but nothing helps. I cannot for the life of me figure this out.
